Dear All:

To make the best use of limited time in the workshop, please come prepared to offer your ideas on questions set out on the page for Topic 09 concerning <Zhu Weihua 2014.pdf>. Even better, share your notes on the page before the workshop.

Also, it would be great if you  could comment on examples from Chapter 7 of the black book <Holmes and Stubbe 2003 Power and politeness.pdf> as others have done on the page for Topic 09? Similarly, do share your notes in any form that suits you, including as mark-ups on screen-shots of examples from the chapter.
