Dear All:

With the lecture series having ended this morning, it is well and truly time for consolidation of learning. As indicated, aside from the usual resources in the form of Readings and Slides, I have prepared a few other ways of helping you form a coherent whole from the topics we dealt with during the semester--

• The page dedicated to Face Theory, where additional notes on theory are found in a single location
• The page Socialising Scholars, where you could place scholars whose work we studies into conversation with each other, theoretically speaking
• Briefing on the Simulated Communication Workshop, which offers another way of summing up learning this semester, particularly with the question of perspective in mind
  

With the next weed dedicated to revision, I am hoping to spend time on the cases indicated on pages 123-133 from Holmes and Stubbe (2003). As before, you are invited to share your notes, which would result in additional comments.

If time allows, we shall endeavour to try out a Simulated Communication Workshop in addition.
