The Intimate Relationship
between AI and Human Beings
Inspiration
With the continuous advancement of technology, artificial intelligence dialogue models are gradually integrating into various fields. One of the most typical examples is ChatGPT. This powerful AI model has consistently provided me with highly valuable advice and information. At times, I can't help but associate it with being almost like an ideal intellectual companion, a perfect source of emotional support.
Furthermore, the theme of whether AI can form emotional connections with humans has been depicted in various forms of media. For instance, the 2013 science fiction romance film "Her," directed by Spike Jonze, explores this concept. In the movie, a lonely male protagonist develops a deep emotional relationship, even love, with a sophisticated operating system AI named "Samantha." The film delves deeply into the boundaries between the virtual and the real, as well as the potential for intimacy between humans and AI.
In contemporary society, particularly in urban life, people's perceptions of intimate relationships have undergone some changes. Therefore, I believe that this topic holds value for exploration and research, whether it be from the perspectives of technological development, social ethics, or the psychology of love.

Mind map
1.User Group
·Sapiosexual
·People with intimacy problems - fear of real-life intimacy with real people
2. Main Problem
·The topic of "AI-human intimacy" has a large scope, and as mentioned in the inspiration section, it involves a lot of aspects, but I focus on psychology, i.e., more on the "human" than on the technical and ethical aspects of AI, which are definitely involved but are not my main research questions, such as why someone would want to have an intimate relationship with an AI dialogue model such as chatgpt, but not a human being, and why they would think that an AI dialogue model would be a good companion.
3.Ideate
After defining the problem, I divide my current research into three parts.
1)AI: In this section I will focus on the technology, use, and emotional ethics of Conversational AI (CA).
2)Human Emotions: Intimacy
