The 3rd round of print book acquisition for AY2022-23 has started. 75% of book titles shall be collected by 31 March 2023.

The Library Pre-approval Plans for each department are provided below, from where you could select desired titles.
The Order Feedback (January 2023) regarding the books ordered by the Library is updated. The arrival time of imported books might be affected due to delays in international parcel delivery. For any urgent need, please contact your subject librarians.

XJTLU ESI Research Performance Report (January 2023 Issue) Released
The Library has released the January 2023 Issue of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Essential Science Indicators (ESI) Research Performance Report, which provides the latest information about XJTLU’s ESI rankings and performances, ESI Top 1% research fields, and ESI Top Papers.
The University has retained its position in the global Top 1% in the field of Engineering, Computer Science, and Social Science, General. Notably, Environment/Ecology has reached 98.4% of the ESI threshold, which is most likely to enter the Top 1% in the following updates.

Analysis of 2022 XJTLU Library Annual Data
In early 2022, due to the pandemic gloom, we were not able to return to school as scheduled and were temporarily trapped in place. During this period of time, many people picked up books and went to the online library together to pass the difficult time and resist inner anxiety through reading; opening the gates of thinking and encountering the beautiful world in reading.
In the middle of 2022, XJTLU Taicang Campus Library officially opened, and core tasks such as professional service, goal-oriented management, accumulation of high-quality resources, research support, and teaching support were realized synchronous upgrading and guarantee in the two campuses, and the Library's work in various fields had made breakthroughs and innovations.
These precious moments have come together to become our annual memory of 2022.
LIBRARY NOTICE
Update: Library Loan Period Adjustment
For your convenience and to avoid any overdue fines before and during the winter holiday (if you were out of university and could not return the books), the Library will extend the loan period for books. Please kindly pay attention to the loan period adjustment shown on this page.
Any checked-out library items with a due date between 12th December 2022 and 26th February 2023 will be extended to 27th February 2023. Please ensure your borrowings are returned before the due date (27th February 2023) to avoid overdue fines.
If you are not able to return to the university on time to return the books, Library suggests you renew borrowed books online before the due date via http://opac.xjtlu.edu.cn through XJTLU VPN. If you have problems renewing items online, please email library-service@xjtlu.edu.cn for help.
