Professor Cross has been listed Elsevier’s Highly Cited Chinese Researchers for two consecutive years.

Elsevier’s list was determined using data from Scopus, a highly regarded worldwide abstract and citation database. The list aims to credit individuals who are leading the world’s academic advancement by analyzing and rating Chinese scholars' influence. This year, a total of 5,216 researchers from 504 universities, enterprises and scientific research institutions are on the list.

In order to promote a culture of reading and support the construction of spiritual civilization on campus, the XJTLU Library launched a reading promotion activity entitled "Read More Books to Plant Your Dream" at both SIP and Taicang campuses from March 13th to March 17th. During the event, more than 80 readers who borrowed five or more books from the library service desk at either campus were rewarded with a small potted plant as encouragement, which not only promotes communication and interaction among readers but also creates a strong cultural atmosphere on our campus.
