Reference Textbook Order Feedback
- The Library received 1,395 reference textbook requests for AY23/24-S1 through e-Bridge.
- 1261 titles have arrived in the Library collection, one copy of which will be shelved in the Course Reserved Area (3F, the Library). You can easily search the reference textbooks for your modules in the "Curriculum" of OPAC.
- 5 titles exist in the Library's digital collection, the electronic copy is searchable and accessible on OPAC.
- 36 titles have not been ordered due to incomplete or incorrect bibliographic information (title, author(s), ISBN, etc.)
- 55 titles are out of print. Please check for other editions.
- 11 titles are temporarily out of stock.
- 2 titles, which failed to be ordered due to not being officially published, will be reordered by the Library.

Chinese Research Data Services Platform (CNRDS) (Trial)
CNRDS(中国研究数据服务平台) is an open platform for high-quality Chinese business research data in Chinese.
Taylor & Francis Sustainable Development Goals Online (New)
The collection offers a curated interdisciplinary digital content aligning with the United Nations' SDGs. It encompasses over 12,000 pivotal book chapters and journal articles under Routledge and CRC Press imprints, covering all 17 SDGs, along with versatile teaching and learning materials in various formats.
Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) (New)
IPA is a bioinformatics application that enables researchers to upload data analysis results from high-throughput experiments such as microarray and next-generation sequencing for functional analysis, integration, and further understanding.
Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE) (Update)
JoVE is a peer-reviewed video journal that publishes scientific research visually, addressing the challenges of poor reproducibility and the time-intensive process of learning new experimental techniques in the scientific community. JoVE Science Education Subscription added: Advanced Biology, Basic Biology, chemistry, Engineering, etc.

The library will provide 6 induction sessions to better support new students’ study journeys. The course will guide you to know about library catalogue, Inter-branch book delivery and services for offering help, which further assists your learning and research at XJTLU. LIBRARY HIGHLIGHTS
Library Annual Report Series: A Bibliometric Analysis of XJTLU Research Publications_2008-2022
In past 15 years, XJTLU has grown from a research newcomer to a rising star, with four research fields have entered Essential Science Indicators (ESI) Top 1%. In order to provide a landscape of XJTLU’s research outputs and impact, Library releases this bibliometric analysis report of XJTLU research publications during 2008 to 2022 using Web of Science data. It shows that XJTLU researchers have been increasingly productive and impactful, with 60% of the publications authored as first/corresponding role. They published 860 WoS-indexed papers in 2022, increased by 17% compared with 2021. The ever-growing open access (OA) publishing share in recent years demonstrating that XJTLU researchers become more active in getting published as OA mode.

Desk copy and student textbook distribution for Semester 1 in AY2023-2024
As the new semester is coming, Library is busy with a series of preparation work to ensure textbook distribution go smoothly before new semester starts. Library will offer desk copy collection service from August 28th and conduct centralized textbook distribution in SIP campus and XEC in September. In accordance with University Arrangements, textbooks will be distributed to New Y1 students on 6th and 7th, undergraduate returning students and all postgraduate students in SIP campus between 8th and 10th September, and to all students in XEC on 9th and 10th September.
Welcome Freshmen: Explore your Library during Orientation
XJTLU Library will hold Freshmen events in September to bring diverse channels for new students to explore the library’s resources and services. The annual event aims to welcome freshmen and help them to get familiar with XJTLU Library. Freshmen are most welcomed to participate in the activities to learn how to search for, locate and borrow books, how to make use of e-resources, how to reach computer labs, etc.
There will be several sub-activities: Freshman Station, Library Exploration, Postcard to My Future Self, "Did you know" Series. Students can read more detailed information about the events here.
