Title: A multidimensional framework to quantify the effects of urbanization on avian breeding fitness

 Abstract:Urbanization has dramatically altered landscapes, changing a multitude of environmental factors such as land-use change, urban heat island, noise pollution and artificial light at night. These environmental factors can serve as potential filters determining the species persistence, breeding fitness and reproduction in urban areas, and thereby driving population dynamics and evolution. Most studies investigated individual effects of these environmental factors on functional and life-history traits, but few have explored the combined effects of these environmental factors in different environmental contexts. Here, I share the results of a systematic review and patterns observed and introduce a multidimensional framework that could guide future work.
