Theme: Library as a Bridge

Here comes the Library’s activity ‘Library as a Bridge’ on Friday, March 24th starting at 1:30 pm, aiming at strengthening the communication with staff and students, which includes two sub-activities:

1. One is from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. on the G floor of ES Building(新兴科学楼), where librarians will set an information desk at the Academy to circulate library guides and provide consultation for students and staff who drop by.
2. The other one is from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in ES316 (ES Building). It is the HES’s  ‘☕ Friday Salon’, where librarians from different departments will make an overall introduction and answer questions. Faculty and students are welcome to attend and interact on site. The proposed agenda is:

• Library Holdings

o   A brief introduction to XJTLU Library print- and electronic- resources

o   How to search/use Library resources effectively

o   How to propose purchase recommendations

o   What supporting services Library provide

• Library Activity

o   XJTLU Readers （西浦朗读者）

• Q&A
