Title: Impact of management and land-use change on arthropod diversity and biological control in agro-ecosystem 

Abstract: Global increasing population needs more agricultural product. However, increasing agriculture production caused biodiversity loss. How to maintain biodiversity and increase agricultural production is a question. Conventional and organic farming, land consolidation, and landscape complexity. These are all measures that increase agricultural production or maintain biodiversity, but they all had their limits. Thus, in my PhD program, I investigated biodiversity and yield trade-offs between conventional and organic farming in global and local level, effect of land consolidation and its interaction with land complexity on arthropod diversity, and temporally dynamic effect of land complexity on arthropod diversity. All of these work tried to answer how to maintain biodiversity in agro-ecosystem.
