In this seminar, Dr. Yi Zou will share his sabbatical experience at Yale university.

本次研讨会，邹怡博士将分享他在耶鲁大学的学术休假经历。
Biography：
Dr. Yi Zou is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Environmental Sciences at the School of Science, XJTLU. He is an ecologist and entomologist studying conservation biology, landscape ecology and ecosystem services in agricultural and urban ecosystems. Before joining XJTLU in 2016, Dr. Zou completed his Master’s study at Lancaster University (UK), PhD at University College London (UK), and Postdoc at Wageningen University (Netherlands). He is particularly interested in how changing landscapes affect arthropod diversity, pollination, and biological pest control services. His research interests also include effectively measuring biodiversity at different dimensions by mathematical models.

邹怡博士是西交利物浦大学理学院健康与环境科学系的副教授。他是一位生态学家和昆虫学家，研究农业和城市生态系统中的保护生物学、景观生态学和生态系统服务。在2016年加入西浦之前，邹博士在兰卡斯特大学（英国）完成了硕士学习，于伦敦大学学院（英国）获得了博士学位，并在瓦赫宁根大学（荷兰）进行了博士后研究。他关注不同景观对昆虫多样性、传粉和生物防治服务的影响。他的研究兴趣还包括如何通过数学模型有效地测量不同维度的生物多样性。
