Abstract:
Dr. Zhengyu Jin's lecture explores low-carbon, low-energy consumption, value-added treatment technologies for urban sewage. The presentation delineates potential pathways for the resource recovery and value conversion of the three primary pollutants—carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus—in urban wastewater. Addressing the key current technical demands and challenges, the lecture focuses on recent research progress in high-value resource recovery via magnetically enhanced physicochemical processes, offering fresh insights and perspectives for the development of application-oriented resource recovery technologies.

金正宇博士关于城市污水低碳低耗价值化处理技术的探索,梳理了将城市污水中碳、氮、磷三种主要污染物分别资源化及价值化转化的可能路径,针对现存主要技术需求及难点,重点探讨围绕磁场强化的物化途径高值资源化方法的现有研究进展,为面向应用的资源化技术开发提供新思路及新观点
Biography:
Dr. Zhengyu Jin, who earned his Ph.D. and completed his postdoctoral studies at Tsinghua University, currently serves as an Associate Professor at the College of Life and Environmental Sciences, Minzu University of China, where he also supervises master’s students. He is a member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and a board member of the Ecological Environment Production-Education Alliance of Minzu University of China. His research primarily focuses on low-carbon, resource-oriented treatment technologies for sewage that integrate physicochemical and biological processes, as well as the associated management theories. Dr. Jin has led or participated in over 20 research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National 863 Program, the “13th Five-Year Water Program,” and various enterprise-commissioned R&D projects. He has published more than 30 high-level articles in both domestic and international journals, holds over 20 authorized or published patents, has contributed to the drafting of a national standard, and is the author of two monographs, in addition to successfully transforming one R&D product into practical application. Dr. Jin has been recognized as a leading talent in technological innovation and entrepreneurship under the “KunCheng Yingcai” initiative and serves as a guest academic editor for journals such as Environmental Engineering, Water Cycle, and Frontiers in Water.

金正宇,清华大学博士及博士后,中央民族大学生命与环境科学学院副教授,硕士研究生导师,世界自然保护联盟(IUCN)会员,中国生态环境产教联盟中央民族大学理事。主要从事物化生物耦合途径低碳污水资源化处理技术及管理理论研究,曾主持或参与国家自然科学基金项目、国家863计划、“十三五水专项”、企业委托技术研发等20余项研究课题,发表国内外高水平期刊论文30余篇,授权或公开专利20余项,参编标准1项,著作2部,研发产品成果转化1项,获“昆承英才”科技创新创业领军人才等称号,担任《环境工程学报》、《Water cycle》及《Frontiers in Water》特邀学术编辑。
