Biography:
Dr. Yuan Li is an Associate Professor at the College of Harbor, Coastal and Offshore Engineering, Hohai University. His research focuses on coastal hydrodynamics, sediment transport, beach–dune morphodynamics, and nature-based coastal protection. He has led research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and participated in national research programs on coastal disaster prevention and ecological coastal protection. Dr. Li has published more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals, including Coastal Engineering, Ocean Engineering, and related international journals. He has been recognized through several academic honors, including the Jiangsu Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award and selection into the Jiangsu “333 Project” High-level Talent Program.
