Title: Top-down and bottom-up forces in Biological Conservation: Carnivores, Herbivores and National Policies
Introduction: In this seminar, Dr. Xiao is going to talk about two type of top-down forces, one is top-down regulation from predators in nature, the other is top-down designed national policies and their potential impacts on biological conservation. She will use 2 case studies that she conducted before to illustrate the ideas.
