Welcome to our website for ARTO, the XJTLU Atmospheric Research and Teaching Observatory.

This research site is located on the top of the EB building on the north campus of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), Suzhou, China (31.27472 °N, 120.7375 °E). It is run by scientists from the Department of Health and Environmental Sciences, School of Science, XJTLU. Its aim is to continuously record meteorological, chemical, and biological data, such as the concentration of aerosol particles. With the help of these data, we hope to gain insights into how the urban surface interacts with the overlying atmosphere and the ground below.
