Description of the project:
The Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region is one of the most economically developed regions in China and has one of the highest greenhouse gas emissions in the country. However, there is still a lack of research on the spatial and temporal patterns of atmospheric H2 and its main control mechanisms in the YRD region. Thus, the potential impact of the significant future diffusion of hydrogen energy on the YRD region's atmospheric environment cannot be understood. In this study, spatial and temporal patterns of atmospheric H2 will be studied in typical cities of the YRD.
