Abstract
Presenter: Dawei Liu (Computer Science and Software Engineering)
Key words: Innovation and entrepreneur-friendly learning environment, Cross-disciplinary collaboration, Student start-ups
Student start-ups in China are in the stage of rapid development. This presents a challenge to educators: how to provide students with an innovation and entrepreneur-friendly learning environment? In this presentation I will review some case studies, from the perspective of a computer science teacher, on what has been done and what has yet to be done. Through these studies suggestions are given for promoting innovation oriented assessment and encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration among students.
