Print Book Acquisition
The 1st round of departmental book acquisition for AY2018-2019 has started. 30% book titles shall be collected by Oct 31, 2018.

The latest Library Pre-approval Plans for each department are provided as below, from where you could select desired titles.
The Order Feedback (June 2017 - August 2018) regarding the books ordered by the Library is attached as well.

Wanted Book List
Based on the book recommendations from academic departments, the Library produces a ‘wanted book list’ for items which failed to be purchased. Faculty could find your own ways to purchase the listed books for teaching and research needs. It shall follow the procedure in XJTLU Library Faculty Purchase Reimbursement Policy when purchasing a book from the wanted book list.

Reiteration on Fair Use of e-Resources at XJTLU Library
During the past few weeks, the Library received the alert notice several times from the publisher that there was fraudulent access to a database from XJTLU end users.
The abnormal activities has resulted in the block of university’s access to e-resources as well as damaged the university’s reputation among publishers.
In order to avoid the re-occurrence of any violations, the Library hereby reemphasizes the fair use of e-resources at XJTLU Library.
Library Affairs Committee Meeting
As scheduled, the LAC meeting will be held on Wednesday, 26 Sept, 2:00-4:00 pm, in Room 1105 Central Building. Hard copies of meeting documents will not be provided. The Library will upload them on Portal in advance before the meeting, and inform you by email. Documents will also be displayed on the front screen during the meeting, as usual.
