Director's Update

Welcome all once again to another edition of the AEC Newsletter! Let's call it our Spring edition!

To begin, I'd like to first of all welcome a new member to our AEC family, Yuren (Karen) Zhang who use to work in the Language Centre and is now the AEC Secretary. Also, I would like to congratulate the AEC Administrator Yao Wu who gave birth to a beautiful baby girl before Christmas.

The set up of this issue (Issue 5) is similar to previous ones where we have dedicated pages (5 for this edition) to look at core areas of development within the AEC. If interested in viewing previous editions just check the bottom right hand corner of this page for the relevant links.

The first page (this page) focuses on our current research outputs, as well as, upcoming events delivered, facilitated or supported by the AEC.

Page 2, is dedicated to the upcoming Annual Learning and Teaching Colloquium (6th-7th April). We look forward to seeing you all there.

Page 3 is all about CPS initiatives and events while page 4 looks at what our Educational Technologies Team (ETT) are developing and delivering such as their Technologies Showcase at the Colloquium and their new training workshops they have started to deliver this semester.

The final page (page 5) looks at what our Post-graduate Research (PGR) development team are doing to support our PGR/MRes students as well as new Supervisors at XJTLU.

Please use the navigation pane (above centre) to move from page to page or alternatively use the NEXT PAGE or PREVIOUS PAGE button on the top right and left hand side of the page.

We hope you enjoy your read and again look forward to seeing you at AEC workshops and events for the rest of this Month and for all of April.
