Print Book Acquisition
The 1st round of print book acquisition for AY2022-23 has started. 25% book titles shall be collected by 30 November, 2022.

The Library Pre-approval Plans for each department are provided as below, from where you could select desired titles.
The Order Feedback (August 2022) regarding the books ordered by the Library is updated. During the pandemic prevention and control period, the arrival time of imported books might be affected due to delays in international parcel delivery. For any urgent need, please contact your subject librarians.

Quiz | Freshmen Camp: Explore Information Retrieval
Information retrieval, as the main way to locate and access information, will become one of the essential skills for your academic career in the university. In order to help you understand information searching knowledge and master related skills as soon as possible, the Library has prepared "Freshmen Camp – Explore Information Retrieval" so as to facilitate your effective information retrieval on topics of interest. With the form of online quiz, this activity includes 5 questions, which is expected to be completed in around 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, the Library has prepared 50 gifts to encourage freshmen to participate in the activity. 50 Lucky Winners will be randomly selected from those who participated before 8 September 2022 (11:59 pm).

Library Highlights
Welcome Freshmen: Explore your Library during Orientation
XJTLU Library will hold Freshmen events in September to bring diverse channels for new students to explore the library’s resources and services. The annual event aims to welcome freshmen and help them to get familiar with XJTLU Library. In the main entrance hall of the library, there’ll be a big information board to showcase sub-activities: Library Exploration Game, Library Guide Collection, Library Resources and Services Induction, and Library Etiquette Tips Guide. Freshmen are most welcomed to participate in the activities to learn how to search for, locate and borrow books, how to make use of e-resources, how to reach computer labs, etc.

Textbook Collection for Semester 1 in AY 2022/23
XJTLU Library are delighted to welcome students (back) to XJTLU for the new semester. In order to protect the health and safety of staff and students, Textbook Service Center has been completely disinfected and sterilized. Also, COVID-19 nucleic acid tests have been performed on all the textbooks and all the results are negative. Thus, in accordance with the arrangements introduced by the University, please be kindly informed of the textbook collection schedule and instructions for AY2022/23S1.
