Print Book Acquisition
The first round of print book acquisition for AY2021-22 has started. 25% book titles shall be collected by 30 November, 2021.

The Library Pre-approval Plans for each department are provided as below, from where you could select desired titles.
The Order Feedback (August-September 2021) regarding the books ordered by the Library is updated as below. During the pandemic prevention and control period, the arrival time of imported books might be affected due to delays in international parcel delivery. For any urgent need, please contact your subject librarians.

How to collect your textbooks for Semester 1 in AY2021/22
We are delighted to welcome all students back to XJTLU for the new semester, and we are very much looking forward to seeing you on campus. In order to protect the health and safety of staff and students, Textbook Service Center has been completely disinfected and sterilised. Also, COVID-19 nucleic acid tests have been performed on all the textbooks and all the results are negative.
Thus, in accordance with the arrangements introduced by the University Communication issued on 27 August, please be kindly informed of the textbook collection schedule and instructions for AY2021/22 S1.

XJTLU ESI Research Performance Report (September 2021 Issue) Released
The Library has released the September 2021 Issue of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Essential Science Indicators (ESI) Research Performance Report, which provides the latest information about XJTLU’s ESI rankings and performances, ESI Top 1% research fields and ESI Top Papers.
In the current update, XJTLU has entered the ESI Top 1% in the field of Social Science, General for the first time. This is the 3rd field for XJTLU to enter the global Top1%, following Engineering and Computer Science.

Reference Textbook Order Feedback
- The Library received 1,456 reference textbook requests for AY21/22-S1 through e-Bridge.
- 1,228 titles have existed in the Library collection, one copy of which will be shelved in Course Reserved Area (3F, the Library). You can easily search the reference textbooks of your modules in "Curriculum" of OPAC.
- 7 titles have been proceeded for reordering.
- 4 titles, which failed to be ordered due to not been officially published, will be reordered by the Library.
