Print Book Acquisition
The second round of print book acquisition for AY2021-22 has started. 50% book titles shall be collected by 28 February, 2022.

The Library Pre-approval Plans for each department are provided as below, from where you could select desired titles.
The Order Feedback (January 2022) regarding the books ordered by the Library is updated as below. During the pandemic prevention and control period, the arrival time of imported books might be affected due to delays in international parcel delivery. For any urgent need, please contact your subject librarians.

Library Academic Support during the winter Holiday
During the winter holiday, the Library will keep offering academic support services.
XJTLUers are welcomed to book a library appointment with reference librarians to schedule consultation for yourself.

Opening Hours Adjustment during the Winter Holiday
In order to balance the energy saving of Library space facilities and users’ needs for learning and research during the winter holiday, the Library opening hours during this period will be adjusted.
From 29th January to 6th February, the Library will be closed for the Chinese New Year.
From 19th February, all library working hours, spaces and facilities usage will return to normal. (8:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday; 9:00 to 22:00 Saturday and Sunday).

Loan Period Adjustment during the Winter Holiday
For your convenience and to avoid any overdue fines during the winter holiday (if you were out of university and could not return the books), the Library will extend the loan period for books during the coming winter holiday. Please kindly pay attention to the loan period adjustment shown as below:
Any checked-out library item which the due date is one of the days from 1st January 2022 to 3rd March 2022 will all be extended to 4th March 2022. Please make sure your borrowings are returned before the due date (4th March 2022) to avoid overdue fines.

Reference Textbook Order Feedback
- The Library received 1,121 reference textbook requests for AY21/22-S2 through e-Bridge.
- 858 titles have existed in the Library collection, one copy of which will be shelved in Course Reserved Area (3F, the Library). You can easily search the reference textbooks of your modules in the "Curriculum" of OPAC.
- 17 titles have existed in the Library digital collection, their electronic copies are searchable and accessible on OPAC.
- 52 titles have not been ordered due to incomplete or incorrect bibliographic information (title, author(s), ISBN, etc.)
- 10 titles are temporarily out of stock.
- 4 titles, which failed to be ordered due to not being officially published, will be reordered by the Library.
