The 2nd round of departmental book acquisition for AY2019-20 has started. 50% book titles shall be collected by Dec 15, 2019.

Wanted Book List

Based on the book recommendations from academic departments, the Library produces a ‘wanted book list’ for items which failed to be purchased. Faculty could find your own  ways to purchase the listed books for teaching and research needs. It shall follow the procedure in XJTLU Library Faculty Purchase Reimbursement Policy when purchasing a book from the wanted book list.

AY19/20-S1 Recommended Textbook Order Feedback

- The Library received 1,393 recommended textbook requests through e-Bridge.

- 448 titles have newly arrived in the Library, which will be shelved in Course Reserved Area (3F, the Library).

- 111 titles, which failed to be ordered due to out of stock, will be reordered by the Library.

Digital Resource Update

MSP is focused on developing software for publishing, and on assisting and creating top-level scientific-research publications. Their editorial boards and highly selective peer-review workflows guarantee the impact of the published articles. They publish more than 17,000 pages per year, covering mathematics and other selected fields.

Progress in Preservation of FYPs, Dissertations and Theses

Library has completed the collecting process of full-texts of FYPs, dissertations and theses among the AY2018-19 cohort of graduates. All records were indexed in the XJTLU Library Electronic Thesis and Dissertation (ETD) system and are searchable for university staff and students. Kindly note that the full-text availability of FYPs, dissertations and theses were set in line with the embargo options provided by academic departments and candidates.
