Print Book Acquisition
By May 15th 2019, library book acquisition project for AY2018-19 has been closed. During the summer break, you may continue to submit book requests to the Library for print book collection development in AY2019-20.

The latest Library Pre-approval Plans for each department are provided as below, from where you could select desired titles.

Wanted Book List
Based on the book recommendations from academic departments, the Library produces a ‘wanted book list’ for items which failed to be purchased. Faculty could find your own ways to purchase the listed books for teaching and research needs. It shall follow the procedure in XJTLU Library Faculty Purchase Reimbursement Policy when purchasing a book from the wanted book list.

Digital Resources Update
The Building Types Online database is a resource for the study and practice of architectural design.
It is based on Birkhäuser's high international standing in professional architecture books, on the knowledge of the authors and editors who are leading experts in their fields, as well as on the technical quality of the illustrations. The database offers exclusive and unparalleled, highly flexible and detailed search and browse access to the contents of the Birkhäuser program on building types. All content was written and selected by internationally renowned authors in architectural design.

AY19/20-S1 Recommended Textbook Order Feedback
The Library received 1,393 recommended textbook requests through e-Bridge. You can check the details for your own modules in the document below. Upon the arrival in the Library, one copy of the books will be shelved in Course Reserved Area (3F, the Library), to allow more students to have access to them.
