Today we learnt about UE, unreal engine, a game engine under epic games.

Unreal Engine is an Unreal engine developed by the gaming company EPIC. It is a complete game development platform for next generation consoles and DirectX9 PCs, providing a wide range of core technologies, data generation tools and basic support needed by game developers.

This software feels somewhat similar to unity, but different from it and has more powerful modelling capabilities than it does.

Although it is time consuming to download, there are many materials available in the epic games market, many of which are high quality and free. We can create an object, then open the library and drag a material onto it. The modelling interface comes with a natural light source, which can be resized, or we can create additional point lights, line lights, etc.
