On Wednesday morning we opened a downloaded asset using unreal engine and our teacher showed us how to adjust shots and lighting in this software. We built a square model and then deleted a face so that we could get a space that resembled an enclosed room and could practice lighting in the corners of the enlarged square.
We have previously downloaded three versions of UE, 5.0, 5.2 and 5.3, each with similar functionality, but with slightly different pages for specific operations.
UE's Light Chase is a great feature to use to hit the right shadows and make them correct. Adjusting the speed of light and the quality of light can give different effects.
