Today we worked on a Chinese building in class using ZBrush. Because of the complexity of the composition of this model and our need to split it into three parts for rendering, we started by importing the model into maya for processing. The three lines were selected for cutting in Maya's UV mode and then the UV drawings were lined up neatly and ready to be imported into ZBrush for processing.

ZBrush comes with a lot of material balls for bronze, wood and stone, so rendering and baking is a very quick process, but the only thing that wasted some time was when processing the model in maya, because there was a lot of constant multi-selection and a lot of complicated edges, so it was easy to select one or two wrong edges, resulting in a messy unfolding. It was a mess. The finished product looks awesome and I really enjoyed today's project.
